Who we are

B.E.S.T Roofing ("we", "us") is a roofing company based at 7 Dawson Close, St Albans, Herts, AL2 1FQ. You can contact us on 07872 435665 or at bestroofing17@gmail.co.uk. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

What information we collect

When you contact us — by phone, email, or through the enquiry form on this website — we collect the details you choose to give us, typically your name, phone number, email address, the property address and the details of the work you'd like quoted.

The enquiry form on this site opens your own email app with your details filled in; the website itself does not store your message on any server.

How we use your information

We use your details to respond to enquiries, prepare estimates, carry out work and keep records of jobs for accounting and warranty purposes. We do not sell your information or use it for marketing without your consent.

Legal basis

We process your information on the basis of taking steps at your request before entering a contract (preparing quotes and carrying out work) and our legitimate interests in running the business.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't become jobs are deleted after a reasonable period. Records for completed work are kept for as long as required for tax and warranty purposes.

Sharing

We only share your information where necessary — for example with suppliers delivering materials to your property — and never for third-party marketing.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To exercise these rights, email bestroofing17@gmail.co.uk or write to us at 7 Dawson Close, St Albans, Herts, AL2 1FQ. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
